Do or Die

I remember a scene from a movie in which father teaches his son to swim…
When they reach shore… father pushes son into deep water, the boy screams for help, tries to swim, drowns and swims and at the end he makes to shore… to find father pushing him back into water…
Same was the incident with Alexander who ordered his men to destroy their ships when they reached enemy land… which was their only way to escape if they get defeated. so...
“Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.”- M.K. Gandhi
The idea was to eliminate the choices in life….
When you are pushed to extent that you can only either Do or Die…
It is then you show your true colors… it is when…
“Your thoughts; become words. Your words; become actions. Your actions; become habits. Your habits; become character. Your character; becomes your destiny.”
A clear thought in mind is what is required to fulfill your destiny… why all this now?
I say, it’s now or never…
I dream of becoming an administrator, I dream of showing remarkable outputs from my project.
But the life always plays its role like mother making you comfortable at every point which makes you feel lazy to even take step ahead, and there are so many others to distract you from your goal… how to remain focused?
  • Eliminate choices
It’s either you or not you…
Life asks different questions but with only two options
YES or NO
It is YES or NO that decides your thoughts, actions, habits, character and attitude.
The delay in taking decision just adds up one more decision to be taken…
.
I want to study… but let me watch this movie now…
I want to exercise… but let me sleep for today…
.
“If you don't have time to do it right, when will you have time to do it over?”
I’m not a teacher to teach you how to act and react… I’m just a friend to remind you to act before it’s too late… I have missed an opportunity… so its to warn you before you fall into pit...
Practice to eliminate choices...coz...
“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit.”

And do take time out to relax and not relax to get timed out.
